Polk County offer 400+ miles of snowmobile trails, 31 miles of ATV / UTV Trails, 40 miles of bicycling trails & 25 miles of cross country skiing trails.

 

The 98 mile Gandy Dancer Trail passes through Frederic.  This trail follows the old Minneapolis, St. Paul & Sault Ste. Marie railroad grade from St. Croix Falls to Superior.  This is the most user friendly trail in the Midwest.

 

The Polk County Fair is THE event to attend during the summer.  People of all ages gather for fun, excitement & community at this well-loved event.

 

Coyland Creek in nearby Siren provides a picturesque outdoor setting that is ideal for the outdoor wedding of your dreams.  They also have 610 acres of prime upland bird hunting land for pheasants and chuckar.

 

Frederic Golf Course is a beautifully manicured 18-hole course with mature trees, lush greens and challenging fairways. It is truly one of the more enjoyable courses in Northwestern Wisconsin for all levels of golfers.
